This Malaysian Standard is intended to provide information and guidance on the various types of security devices and systems that are available, the range of protection devices and systems that are available, the range of protection they offer, and where appropriate the Malaysian Standards to which they should conform. Security aspects of how and where the vehicle is left are also considered.
