This Malaysian Standard is a modified adoption of MS 628-1:2014, Plastics piping systems for water supply and for buried and aboveground drainage and sewerage under pressure - Unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-U) - Part 1: General (Second revision) (ISO 1452-2:2009, MOD) published by the Department of Standards Malaysia with the following modifications:
