SPECIFICATION FOR PLASTICS WASTE PIPE AND FITTINGS
This Malaysian Standard specifies requirements for plastics waste pipe and fittings intended to convey normal domestic effluent and made from the following materials:
(a) acrylonrtrile-butadiene-styrene )ABS(:
)b) modified unplastlcized polyvinyl chloride (MUPVC);
(C) polypropylene (PP(:
)d) polyethylene (PE)
Since the standard gives requirements for pipe and fittings manufactured from materials which have different coefficients of expansion and design features, it is essential that the manufacturers’ fixing instructions are followed
