The adoption of the ISO Standard as a Malaysian Standard was recommended by the Working Group on Polybutylene (PB) Pipes and Fittings under the authority of the Industry Standards Committee on Plastics and Plastics Products.
This Malaysian Standard is the first revision of MS ISO 10508, Thermoplastics Pipes and Fittings for Hot and Cold Water Systems.
This Malaysian Standard is identical with ISO 10508:2006, Plastics piping systems for hot and cold water installations - Guidance for classification and design, published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
