The adoption of the ISO Standard as a Malaysian Standard was recommended by the Technical Committee on Petroleum Fuels under the authority of the Industry Standards Committee on Petroleum and Gas.
This Malaysian Standard is identical with ISO 10370:1993, Petroleum products - Determination of carbon residue - Micro method, published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
