Packaging – Transport of dangerous goods - Part 7: Provisions concerning transport operations

This standard contains provisions applicable to dangerous goods transport operations by all modes of transport.
NOTES:
1. In general, the development of the detailed provisions of this standard would be left to the competent authority of the individual mode of transport.
2. The special provisions applicable to the carriage of radioactive materials are not covered in this standard. The transport of radioactive material shall be in accordance with the Radiation Protection (Transport) Regulations 1989. Radiation Protection (Transport) Regulations 1989 shall not apply where there are provisions in force to the contrary in any international transport regulations for routes using international pathways and for such routes, the transport of radioactive material shall be in accordance with the provisions provided therein.
