CODE OF PRACTICE FOR DESIGN AND INSTALLATION OF SEWERAGE SYSTEMS
This Malaysian Standard deals with the planning design, construction and installation and testing, of sewerage system, which includes the sewers and sewer appurtenances, sewage pumping stations, sewage treatment works, and all the other works necessary to collect. convey, treat, and finally dispose domestic sewage and permitted amount of industrial wastewater. This Malaysian Standard does not deal with the treatment of industrial effluents (those not permitted to be discharged into the sewerage system) and operation and maintenance. This Malaysian Standard is intended to indicate what is considered to be the minimum requirements for the design of sewerage systems and good practices, under normal conditions. However, it is also realised that in certain localities and/or circumstances, there may be special conditions which may require modification to the minimum requirements laid down in this Malaysian Standard. This Malaysian Standard recommendations should be supplemented as required
