Fire extinguishing installations and equipment - Part 1 :Hose reels and foam inlets (First revision)
This Malaysian Standard gives recommendations for hose reels and foam inlet. It covers good practice in matters affecting the design, installation, testing and maintenance of such systems. It does not give requirements for the hose reels themselves, which are specified in MS 1447.
This Malaysian Standard does not cover wet and dry fire mains, automatic foam systems and portable firefighting equipment. These systems are covered in other Malaysian Standards.
