Tinplate and blackplate - Specification (Second revision)
This Malaysian Standard draft specifies requirements for single and double cold-reduced blackplates and electrolytic tinplates in the form of sheets or coils that are intended mainly for food can, beverage can, and general use.
NOTE. The term ‘blackplates’ refer to the steel sheets and steel strips, prior to coating, to be used to make tinplates or tin-free steel, which are sometimes traded as they are.
