SPECIFICATION FOR ELECTRICAL SAFETY CODE ON PRIVATE ELECTRIC GENERATING PLANT (FIRST REVISION)
1.1 Purpose of this code. The purpose 01’ this code is the practical sale—guarding of persons
from hazards arising from the installation, operation and maintenance ol’ electrical supply stations
and associated plant and equipment. It contains basic minimum provisions considered necessary
l’or safety. Compliance therewith will result in an installation essentially free of hazards. It, is
not intended as a design specification or as an instruction manual for untrained persons.
1.2 Scope of this code. This code covers electrical supply conductors, plant and equipment
in electrical supply stations installed in, owned and operated by a licensed private establishment.
