PETROLEUM INDUSTRY - TERMINOLOGY - PART 5: TRANSPORT, STORAGE AND DISTRIBUTION
This Malaysian Standard consists of a list of terms, used in the petroleum industry in the areaof transport, storage and distribution.
MS 1821 is intended to cover the purposes of the petroleum industry dealing with crude oilsand petroleum products, that means all related operations arising from the production field tothe final user. It is not intended to cover either petroleum equipment, or any operation in thefield. However, some pieces of equipment or some operations of exploration and productionare defined. The corresponding terms were introduced only when they appear in a definitionof a product or process and when their definition was found necessary for understanding orfor avoiding any ambiguity.
