PACKAGING – TRANSPORT OF DANGEROUS GOODS : PART 5 : CONSIGNMENT PROCEDURES : SUB-PART 1 : GENERAL PROVISIONS
This Malaysian Standard of MS 1513 sets forth the provisions for dangerous goods consignments relative to authorisation of consignments and advance notifications, marking, labelling, documentation [by manual, electronic data processing (EDP) or electronic data interchange (EDI) techniques] and placarding.
NOTE. Provisions for transportation of Class 7 – Radioactive Materials are excluded from this sub-part. The transport of radioactive material shall be in accordance with the Radiation Protection (Transport) Regulations 1989. Radiation Protection (Transport) Regulations 1989 shall not apply where there are provisions in force to the contrary in any international transport regulations for routes using international pathways and for such routes, the transport of radioactive material shall be in accordance with the provisions provided therein.
