Vehicle security systems: Part 2: Locking systems: Section 3: Specification for dead locking systems
This Malaysian Standard specifies requirements for the performance of dead locking systems fitted to passenger compartment doors, luggage compartment or hatchback doors, engine compartment access, fuel filler aperture lids and sun-roof equipment of passenger cars and car derived vehicles.
This standard is intended to supplement but not replace the requirements of MS 1742: Part 2: Section 1 and for a centrally powered locking system, MS 1742: Part 2: Section 2.
