GUIDANCE ON THE APPLICATION OF MS IEC 60364-7-710 FOR GROUP 2: MEDICAL LOCATIONS
This Malaysian Standard applies to electrical installations in group 2 medical locations so as to ensure safety of patients and medical staff. It may be necessary to modify the existing electrical installation, in accordance with this document, when a change of utilization of the location occurs. The requirements of this document do not apply to medical electrical equipment. For the latter reference should be made to the IEC 60601 series. This Malaysian Standard has to be used in conjunction with MS IEC 60364-7-710.
