Natural rubber field latex – Part 1: Methods of sampling
This Malaysian Standard specifies procedures for sampling of natural rubber field latex that are entirely fluid at the time when the samples are taken and at the time when tests are carried out. The latex shall not be submitted to any type of concentration process.
This procedure is not necessarily suitable for latices from natural sources other than Hevea brasiliensis, or for synthetic rubber latices, compounded latex, vulcanized latex, or artificial dispersions of rubber.
WARNING: Persons using this Malaysian Standard should be familiar with normal laboratory practice. This Malaysian Standard does not purport to address all of the safety problems, if any, associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user to establish appropriate safety and health practices and to determine the applicability of any other restrictions.
