This Malaysian Standard specifies continuous hot-dip zinc-coated and zinc-iron alloy-coated steel sheet and strip in terms of structural, commercial and drawing quality.
This standard covers base metal with non-alloy quality steels and alloy quality steels.
The product is intended for applications where resistance to corrosion is of prime importance.
The steel sheet and strip are produced in a number of quality designations and grades, coating mass, surface treatments and coating finish conditions designed to be compatible with differing application requirements.
