NOMENCLATURE FOR PISTONS FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINES
This Malaysian Standard specifies nomenclature for pistons for two and four-stroke single acting
spark ignition and compression ignition engines.
It does not specify piston dimensions as these are varied to suit individual engine requirements. Information
such as that set out in clause 2 should be supplied to the manufacturer to enable dimensions
to be established.
