This guidelines covers the function of liquid ferric salts, means of its application and the scope of work relevant to its usage, labelling - transportation - storage, safety requirements and emergency procedure involved.
Ferric salt in this guidelines applies to ferric chloride, ferric sulphate and ferric chloro sulphate that is supplied to potable water treatment plants.
