This Malaysian Standard covers materials for mastic asphalt suitable for use inwater-proofing, consisting of asphaltic cement, mineral filter and mineralaggregrate.
The material covered by this standard is suitable for water-proofing the floors of buildings and bridges, for reservoirs, waterways, subways and similar structures.It is not intended for use as a pavement for either foot or vehicular traffic.
