The adoption of the ISO Standard as a Malaysian Standard was recommended by the
Technical Committee on Soaps and Detergent under the authority of the Industry Standards
Committee on Chemicals and Materials.
This Malaysian Standard is identical with ISO 2870:2009, Surface active agents - Detergents
- Determination of anionic-active matter hydrolysable and non-hydrolysable under acid
conditions, published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
